I'm such a slacker

I have an update coming.

Really.

I'm not just wasting space here. It's actually coming. There's pictures, videos, birthdays, Memorial Day barbecue fun, and more! There's a stack of pictures sitting in my queue of things to do, as soon as I get around to doing it.

Anyway, it will be soon.

Promise!

April hath put a spirit of youth in everything

April hath put a spirit of youth in everything - William Shakespeare

I can’t tell you what play or sonnet that’s from, just ran across the quote somewhere and it is amazingly appropriate for today’ s post. Spring is definitely in the air here. Temperature highs are starting to creep into the 60’s on occasion, such as this past Sunday where we saw a high of 67, and we're supposed to see 70 on Friday.  At this time of the year, it feels like midsummer.

I grabbed the camera while I was watching the kids play outside while Mommy and Kylie went to church. I managed to distract them from making mud pies long enough to snap a few pictures, including these two.

Fix that website!

I’ve got help here at killerb.com, and now three people to blame when something doesn’t work right. Got a bug? Submit it to Hailey, Alaina and Kylie. They’ll get right on it!

Enjoy the April album here.

Mmmmmm... Easter candy...

Easter dresses Happy Easter, everyone! We didn’t do cutesy Easter outfits this year, opting for the Christmas dresses, which work surprisingly well as Easter dresses, being spring colors, and all that. The kids went to Grandma and Grandpa’s for brunch and baskets, I colorwhich included some treats, and some fun toys.

Alaina shows off her coloring skills. She’s engrossed here. I mean, I’m clicking away here, taking a ton of pictures, and she is completely ignoring me. Good for her.

I want candyKylie here is bummed. I mean, her sisters get candy, cake, and even a giant cookie shaped like an Easter egg, and she doesn’t get to munch on any of it yet. I think she’s plotting her revenge in this picture.

The wearin' of the green

I try to get a nice picture of the kids in their green St. Paddy’s day shirts. I fail miserably. The dialog goes something like this:

Alaina: Waaaaah! I don’t wanna wear the green shirt!

Hailiy: Nena! You stop crying!

You get the idea...

Waaaaaah!

Nena!

Crawling, Snow and Birthdays

Been a long time since an update, heck, since January. Been pretty busy with a variety of things. So, this video has a few things, Kylie’s first real crawl from last month, the girls doing some "shows", and some Alaina birthday fun.

Entertaining, to say the least. The Baby Ballerina song just makes me giddy every time I see it. There’s a whole show that Hailey and her dance class will do in the Spring. If it’s as good as this, we’re in for a treat.

CrawlAs you can see from the video, Kylie’s crawling up a storm. She’ll be walking soon. Earlier than the other two, who didn’t really crawl until around 9-10 months.

SnowmanWe did finally get a snowfall with some accumulation to speak of. Babies everywhere! It was Cake!actually a few inches, enough to build a snowman, a snow fort, and some good snowball fun.

We ended up having a birthday party for Alaina’s 2nd birthday with a few friends and family, and a bunch of kids. Joe and Sue brought Juliet, and Roman stopped by with Elias and Maya. But basically, as we all know, the only thing that’s important is the cake. Enjoy it, Alaina!

Photo album updates to the Christmas album with pictures from my Dad’s camera I took at Christmas dinner (I’d forgotten my camera), a really big Winter album, and Alaina’s 2nd Birthday album. Enjoy!
